This knife is an absolute laser beam. Weight and balance feel nice, the wide blade is much lighter than it looks. A joy to work with.

Enfin un tablier pour le bbq (voire de la soudure!? ) fait pour durer toute une vie. Malgré sa solidité et sa bonne facture apparente, c’est élégant et on peut l’ajuster à souhait.
La toile est raide et prendra un certain temps à s’assouplir, ce n’est pas votre tablier « best bbq dad » habituel.
C’est parfait pour les personnes de grandes tailles.

I'm again amazed by a Tanaka knife.
This Is my actual favourite.
Spine Is beefy but not too thick, very thin behind the edge, the grind is Shigeki's classic with great cutting performance and food release.
Tip Is insanely thin and flies through everything. Balance point Is exactly at the pinch grip. Ootb Edge is very good. Blade's height let you scoop ingredients from the board with ease.
Ginsan steel Is the cherry on the cake. Fit and finish Is what I expected, not perfect but good for the price range. Knife looks rustic and amazing anyways.
Nagano service was perfect: fast, reliable, and with an unexpected knife guard in the package as a bonus. Lovely!
Duties are the only downside (I'm in Europe) otherwise I would buy again and again from Nagano!
